She was so young.
She was an amazing writer.
She would always check in on me and ask how my stories were coming along. I would send her some work and she was always amazing to tell me the good bits and walk me through the parts that were difficult to read.
When she was gone, I had no one to spur me on. Tell me to keep going. Ask if I had put pen to paper or my fingers to the keyboard. So I slacked off.
I stopped keeping journals. I stopped writing.... I just stopped.
But lately, I've started pushing myself again to pick up that pen. Let my thoughts out of the cage they were in. Let my dream ignite one more time. Let the thoughts in my head come out for those few who want to listen.
So if you find yourself not having someone to check in on you, encourage you, push you on... you got this, get to work...
Tash you will always be there in my writing. I can hear you now...
